RSA Academy teacher wins national award
Staff and students at the RSA Academy in Tipton are today celebrating one of their very own teachers being recognised for excellence in education. Earlier in the year, Miss Alldritt was nominated for the Pearson Teaching Awards Teacher of the Year and today, we are very proud to announce that she has won the Silver Award!
This is a prestigious National Award, she has been selected amongst thousands of nominees and her outstanding achievement will be recognised and celebrated later this month at a celebratory afternoon tea at the House of Commons. The school says Miss Alldritt is an inspirational educator, combining creativity with compassion, expectation with aspiration and ingenuity with integrity; she demands that learning is rich, deep and challenges all to achieve.
Miss Alldritt has the ability to create a positive, engaging and inclusive classroom. Her relentless energy and talent inspire all around her: in the classroom with students, in the staffroom with colleagues and in the living room with parents; she engages with all elements of our learning community. Miss Alldritt recognises the importance of innovation, she is a fantastic thinker and can effectively translate research and theory into effective classroom practice; furthermore, she can build the systems to make this practice equally effective in other classrooms.
In light of recent previous achievements, the effort and talent shown from staff and students at RSA Academy can only bring further success in the future.
