On the newly introduced Progress 8 measure, which measures expected progress from Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 4, Holyhead School achieved a score of +0.29, which means, overall, students achieved over a quarter of a grade higher than expected. Particular successes include the students pictured, Sabaha, Fariha and Zeenat, getting almost all A*s and As.

“These results represent truly outstanding achievement for our students. Students and staff have worked incredibly hard to ensure this impressive set of results. As a school the results have significantly exceeded targets which is pleasing. Particularly pleasing is the facts that 83% of students achieved a C or above in English Language, and 61% of students achieved at least one A* or A grade; just reward for their determined efforts.”
