Make a difference to young people’s lives

By working with us

The RSA, or in full, the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce was founded in 1754 and has a long history of developing ideas and projects to improve people’s lives.

The RSA’s mission is ‘21st century enlightenment’: to enrich society through ideas and action. The RSA aims to empower people to apply their creativity to bring about positive social change. In 2011, RSA Academies was established as a separate charity by the RSA to help with that mission and to develop a distinctive vision of what it means to provide an inspirational and creative education.

RSA Academies is an umbrella trust that works closely with eight schools for pupils aged 3-19 in the West Midlands and plans to grow into new geographies in the future. Along with a strong commitment to high academic standards, RSA Academies works with schools to:

  • prioritise and promote art, culture and creativity
  • connect children to, and prepare them for the world beyond the school gates
  • focus on social and emotional wellbeing

Colleagues would love to find out more about your interests and motivations. We invite you to consider becoming an RSA teacher or staff member and bring your energy and creativity to an inspiring and impactful education movement.
